Evening moneysavers,
I've recently applied for a uniform tax rebate and my tax code has changed from 1185L to 1191L does this mean the rebate has ben successful?
Thanks in advance.

yes, the rebate is an extra £60 added to your tax free income
1191 - 1185 = 6
all tax codes leave off the 0 at the end, so £11,910 - £11,850 = £60
read the basics of tax codes as it really is that simple:
https://www.gov.uk/tax-codes
or just read the MSE guide:

I Do not have to wear a uniform for paid work, however I volunteer for the Coast Watch Service and have to buy my own uniform, would this qualify for a tax rebate?0

The uniform has to be in relation to paid employment, not voluntary work
