    Here we go again.
What is this life if, sweet wordsmith, we have no time to take the pith?
Every stew starts with the first onion.
I took it upon myself to investigate a trifle; it had custard, jelly, soggy sponge things...

Not every survey will show to everyone. I havent had one today.

Its unwise to check "every 5 minutes" or whatever timeframe you wise to use. If you have a browser open, I would have a tab with prolific open and it automatically refreshes while you are doing other things. The Chrome assistant also helps. If you are checking every 5,10,15 minutes you are reducing your chances of obtaining a survey massively.

    Hi there

Is anyone doing the 'Leader Chat Study' for Clemens Aichholzer? They are supposed to send an email with a link to download an app to play a game. Been waiting an hour for the email....no show yet!!

There is no way I'm missing a lot of the surveys as I have the tab open regularly. As I say even on mobile device they would show as available whether you can compete then on mob device or not. Also I have email notifications for when a survey is available for me and have had no emails hence I know I haven't missed any.

The surveys will always pop up depending on your account as opposed to device you are currently on.

Getting email notifications for surveys is very rare, I get maybe one every couple of months.

Thing is you can say its poor or disappointing or whatever you like, but ultimately if researchers are not sending them to Prolific, theres not a great deal they can do. Remember its not a commercial site. I am fortunate in that I probably qualify for a higher % of surveys then others, as a guy in mid 30's - there will be fewer the older and younger you are.

Hi everyone - we'd like to apologise for the presence of this study on Prolific yesterday. Indeed, studies requesting this kind of personally identifiable information are not permitted on our platform, and we informed the researcher of this as soon as we became aware (as well as taking the study down immediately).
If you can report these problematic studies to our support team in future (support@prolific.ac), that will be the best way to ensure we are made aware and can take the necessary actions as quickly as possible. As for the apparent bug with re-appearing studies, our developers have been informed and are looking into the issue. I hope this helps to alleviate your concerns, and thank you for your continued support! -Zak

While I probably would have done this study if at home, and could even probably have done it at work - perusal of the first few questions have been like...60 minutes of this?? No thanks.
