3rd September increase?

Just got a letter from DWP saying that from 3rd September 2020 my payments are going up around £60 a week. Anyone else had this from them at all?
Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.

    The increases are not until April and they won't be as much as that. Are you having deductions taken from your ESA?

    No deductions. Something about minimum income? Will have to find the letter.

    Ok, the letter says from 9 April you will get £161.35 a week, this is due to a change in money etc.



    Then the next line due to a further change from 3rd September 2020 you will get £235.45 a week, this is because there is a change in the amount the law says you need to live on.


    So my question is I cannot find anything about this change of law, any ideas?

    Even though i mentioned ESA, i see you haven't actually stated what benefit this is for and is it a single or joint claim, does anyone claim carers allowance for anyone? If it is ESA then which group are in? With no information it's impossible to give any advice.



    If you don't want to give that information then you'll need to ring DWP at ask.



    As advised, there's no increases in September.

    Sorry, meant to mention its income support, we are also on PIP (my wife on both higher payments) and I get carers allowance.

    Just ring DWP and ask them.

    Was hoping to avoid that having gone through 6 months of reassessment for PIP with the wife, but I guess since no one has an idea it has to be the option to take.
