Spray Painting Wooden Bench

Ages ago I bought a wooden bench v cheaply and I would love it to be spray painted a rather bright lilac or lavender colour. Now I doubt my ability to do this well ....so . I was wondering could a car spray place do it? Any suggestions?
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Find a car spray place and ask them? Smaller outfits might be happy to do it for you.

Or why not just paint it yourself with a brush?

You could do it yourself with cans. I haven't looked but there will be plenty of "how tos" on YouTube I'd have thought. Better than any written description.
Preparation and the right primer is everything to get a good finish.

I doubt if car paint sprayers would do this as they are set up to use cellulose based paint. Even if they had the equipment to do it, would probably cost a lot

Since this is a moneysaving forum, I would just paint it using brush as many above have said. That is by far the most economical way of doing it. If you insist that it has to be sprayed, buying half a dozen spray cans and doing it yourself might be worth considering - a lot less than a car paint spryer would charge even though it would be expensive compared to brush painting.

Any reason why you'd spray rather than brush?

Just paint it with a brush and some decent exterior wood paint.

    Indoor or outdoor bench?
