    Summer seems to be back:j:j

    Today has been really nice, some time with the kids and my folks, a decent amount of chores, some exercise and some relaxing. It's also been nsd :)

    Mfw/well being successes included,;

    A run and 20 mins weights

    Drank enough water

    Cheap, healthy eats (porridge, spicy butter bean soup, veggie Moroccan tagine and rice )

    Cut back and tidied the garden

    Planted out courgettes and cleaned up the utility room where they had been

    Changed and line dried ds's bed

    Made a lemon cake for us and mum and dad plus three for the freezer. Filled the oven gaps with baked potatoes:money:

    Made apple and cinnamon overnight oats and spicy butter bean soup

    Cut my hair. Getting quite good at this now:D

    Had coffee with my sister

    Started a new box set and watched 2 episodes

    Off to watch another before an early night :)

    Happy Saturday to you :)

    That is a busy Saturday. I was just thinking earlier that I find it so much harder to be motivated when it is not sunny. We have had a cool cloudy day today and not much got done! Was supposed to be packing for holiday but dh ended up doing the bulk of it!

    Evening :wave:

    What a beautiful day :). Lovely and sunny, not too hot and a gentle breeze - perfect :):)

    This weekend has been pretty well balanced which I don't achieve very often:o. Today has been another mix of chores, family time, relaxing and some exercise. I feel like I've achieved a decent amount but without being tired out so balance is obviously the way forward!

    Today's mfw /well being successes included;

    A run and 20 minutes weights

    Drinking enough water

    Visited mum and dad and filled in their annual assessment forms for Dad's care at home package.

    Had coffee and a good natter with my sister

    Breakfast, lunch and dinner with the kids - unheard of !:):)

    Laundry done and line dried

    Hoovered downstairs

    Made naan bread, pastry, cauli cheese and roasted a gammon joint ready for this week's meal plan

    Small grocery spend of £2.88 on milk, juice, 2x ys potato scones and two ys bags of fresh mussels which we had steamed in wine and garlic for dinner with hm crusty bread and they were yummy :)

    Tomorrow's lunches are ready

    Watched ds play 5 aside :)

    Watched two episodes of new box set

    Swallowed a frog - email

    Painted my toenails and slapped on a bit of tinted moisturiser in anticipation of a week with no tights :rotfl:

    Listed 25 eBay items ( drafted them in dribs and drabs this week so not as bad as it sounds :p)

    Shined my sink:)

    Off to read for a bit before getting an early night.

    Happy sunny Sunday to you :):)

    Evening :wave:

    It's been gorgeous here today, makes you feel glad to be alive:)

    Day one of my potentially crackers week is done and with no major hiccups. 1 down and 3 to go for me and 4 for ds. He's doing ok but it's going to be a long, tiring few weeks for him.

    Today has been a nsd but as I've hit the mid month lull I've nothing else to report, not even a tt :(

    Today's mfw/well being successes included;

    Getting home early and sitting in the garden with dd and having a nice chat before she went out to her bf's for a bbq.

    drinking enough water (just)

    A run and 20 mins weights . Love my running when it's sunny and my little and often weights is paying of as I'm getting noticeably stronger :)

    Went for a walk and a chat with my work pal at lunchtime

    Cheap, healthy eats (porridge for breakfast, lo and salad for lunch and batch cooked veggie tagine from the freezer with cous cous, salad and hm flat bread). So glad of my freezer stocks on busy weeks like these:)

    Lunches ready for tomorrow

    Laundry in wm ready to peg out before work. So nice to be line drying again :)

    Emailed ifa with some bits of info he needed to finalise my pension valuations

    Off to bed with a cup of sleepy tea and my book:)

    Happy Monday :):)
