Hi all. Been mia for a while. Real life and holiday prep has taken a lot of time.
    Hope you are all ok.
Can someone let me know which site is in use now for posting pics please. DH has been taking some lovely snaps and I'd like to post some for you.
We arrived at our usual caribbean holiday destination, after a good flight, to beautiful weather. Hot, sunny and gentle breezes, with overnight showers. Several boozy beach days with old school friends have been enjoyed :rotfl:
VT has arrived to join us, just for a week. :jAs a true elite she found a really cheap flight, so couldn't not take advantage of it, and arrived yesterday. Lots of things planned for the week she is here. I'm sure she'll post about it when she gets home. There will probably be bear pics at some point ;) lol.

Thanks Dora, I found a little A that stocks the cb but the shelf was empty, I'm passing today and hope they've restocked.

Di, it's bank holiday again soon and the shops normally do offers if you can wait!
Wasn't it you who was looking for this last year?

    Morning peeps.
It was me yes well remembered ;)

I did actually treat OH last night.

I went looking for the reduced rail in Asda George but I was sadly disappointed so I had a look at mens shirts instead and found this one - navy background with little white sail boats - perfect cruising shirt :D

    https://direct.asda.com/george/mens-shirts/boat-print-short-sleeve-shirt/GEM630874,default,pd.html

But there are a few others that I know OH would not like but they look fab - there is a parrot one and one with flamingos on them - suitable not the neon pink flamingoes. Also a very subtle pineapple one

I bought my dad that shirt last year but blue boats on white. He put it on as soon as I gave it him but it was never seen again after that day. I think nursing homes should be accountable for these things they charge enough. I also bought him a big book of cars of the decades which also went missing but their good news was they found it in time for my mum clearing his room after he had passed away..... please don't ask if I would recommend that home :rotfl::eek:

Name Dropper First Post First Anniversary Car Insurance Carver!
It is basically a GC for £2.45 to spend today only.
20p off for using travel mug.
    What Costa sizes mean:
    http://www.plainenglish.co.uk/news/947-our-coffee-cup-overflows-with-jargon.htl

    Possible prices:
    https://uk.menuwithprice.com/costa-coffee-menu/

So for hot drinks using own mug you get £2.65 value against what you buy.

If you want anything else but more expensive, pay the difference.

And no harm and trying 2 GCs at the same time, they can only say no.

Watch out, I bought a coughee priced at £1.95 and the suspected manager serving me asked how much Wontwo voucher was for, I answered honestly "up to £2.45" .I watched the till display and the cheating so and so amended the price to £2.45 .
If someone does that to me again I am going to ask for receipt to put the frighteners on them and maybe mumble "trading standards" :rotfl::rotfl:
Dont think trading standards would bother them, but perhaps...mumble mumble mystery shopper. ;)

Does this mean they are not picking up the Aubergine at 50p each in M? In which case we should be sent off apparently to buying in Lidl in 49p - or buying cheaper whoopsies there or elsewhere.

Only to discover when I got home COS have put a new freebie on :(

I've tried 2 big stores with no success - I dont know what I was going to do with them if I ever found them :)
I've still got them as free on my COS list with 4 days to go
My friend says her kids are savages and they would eat anything but I think even she would draw the line :)
