Who has ever forgotten their Advance passenger information

Flying within Europe. People say stuff like

"if you don't enter the Advance information, you can't fly" which sounds like a crock of horse manure to me.

Yeah, officially, it pays for people to be terrified like the good little consumers we are supposed to be.

But what is your actual experience? have you actually been DENIED to fly because you forgot to fill in your advance passenger information?

Nowt to do with being a terrified good little consumer, I'm just not daft enough to unnecessarily take the chance.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Before you actually travel by air, you need to check-in for your flight.

With the requirement to enter your API in order to check-in, you are unlikely to 'forget' to do it.

Airlines are required to be certain of the identity of their passengers, for obvious reasons, if you think that's a crock of horse manure you could travel overland instead.

Do you have some other reason for aversion to entering your API..?

The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....
  • Luckily, I have found the information since I posted the topic.

My best friend flew a few days ago. No Advance passenger info was entered. She took the flight perfectly.

So there we go. Thats the answer.
