I joined the thread last year with all the best intentions of being well organised for this year and completely fell off the wagon with it. Here’s hoping I can stick with it this year0

Good morning everyone
Hope that you all had an enjoyable Christmas Day yesterday. Santa was good to me as I received money plus lots of much needed smaller items. Lots of sweets and biscuits as well.
ETA - forgot to mention we got snow on Christmas Day evening but only a small amount which is melting away this morning.
Have a lovely Boxing Day.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Happy belated birthday ChrissyG
Thank you for the new thread 3forholidays, please could I have my birthday added to the list? (19th May)
Merry Christmas Everyone, a day late but I have a yearly ban from my laptop every christmas day, it gets taken away christmas eve night just before Father Christmas comes and gets returned on boxing day
No shopping for me as tbh we need nothing and I really wanted a quiet boxing day this year where I don't drag 2 complaining kids out in the cold to the shops to buy stuff we don't really need, so we went to grandad's house instead and set up his security camera we bought him for christmas He's very pleased DS has pretty much made himself penniless though as he's spent his money online this afternoon :rotfl:
Oooo! just realised we have run out of christmas cards this year so I do need to buy some of those in the sales for DD Now its time to prepare for DD's birthday (21 days as she told me this morning :rotfl: ) got to get my cheap christmas chocolates for her as per usual :rotfl: best thing about a birthday after christmas, she gets a lot more for her moneySPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £0/£10000 -
Evening all, thanks for the new thread.
Hope every one had a lovely day yesterday.
We had a nice quiet one, nice bit of beef for dinner. My bestie came round and we just chatted over a jigsaw BF bought me.
Enough beef left over for a leftover roast lunch, and beef curry for tea.

Welcome to the thread NATHSMAM, you're definitely in the right place.
Well in true 'me' fashion I'm getting the urge to take the decs down but I'm fighting it - honorary DD and family are coming for a mini-Christmas on Saturday so I really think I should leave the decs until Sunday. Had a lovely Christmas with family although DH was in bed all day Christmas Eve and today but at least he was ok for yesterday. DD2 and DGD got back from Disney safely on Sunday, they had an amazing time. They went home today - I wish they could have stayed longer but at least I'll see them on New Year's Day for DD2's birthday.
Hope everyone has had a lovely time. Bring on the next one.:DIt's the most wonderful timeof the year :0
