Booking centre parcs

Could anyone give me some tips? Wanting to go next year, it's £55 to book the closest area to the plaza. I see they don't tell you your lodge number anymore, is it allocated on arrival now? If we got there early would be able to ask for a key near the plaza from the pot of keys or are they already in the folder to give you?

Trying to get out of the £55 if at all possible!

If you want to avoid the £55, take the chance and don’t guarantee where you will stay, you may get lucky after all.

There is likely no way around this, so if you want peace of mind and it is a requirement for you, either call and ask for it to be waived (unlikely, although I haven’t been to CP for almost 10 years) or pay for the service.

I always choose the option to book a specific lodge. I just did a dummy booking and it still works? Yes, it costs money but if you want to be in a specific location, it's the only way to guarantee it.
  • Me too. Last time I picked a 4 bed/bath lodge with game room just a minute from the plaza.
