PPI "I Think"

In 1991 I had a card protection plan with CPP and it terminated in November 2003. I believe I was mis sold it. I have contacted the ombudsman and CPP and they both refused the claim.
Am I confusing PPI with card protection plan or are they the same thing?
I have even mentioned "Plevin" but still been refused.
I have the policy number and everything and 1991 to 2003 is a long time.
Can someone please advise how I move this forward or is it now the end of the line.
Any help/Advice would be welcome.

Think I have read that card protection is not PPI can someone please say yes or no. Sorry for messing people about

CPP is not PPI

CPP is not PPI and the refund scheme is closed for that.

Some cards did have PPI plans called similar names but if it is CPP then the case is closed

Even if your policy was PPI it would have to be still being paid in 2008 to be in scope for Plevin.

However, since your policy was Card Protection Plan (hence CPP) you are too late to complain (by several years) and have no entitlement to Plevin (which only applies to rejected PPI complaints).

I'm certain all of this will have already been explained in your rejection letters from the Bank and Ombudsman. I suggest you read them carefully if you require further clarification.
