Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and for your kindness.

The last few years have been very up and down - I had a heart attack (age 44) in 2014 and seem to have numerous health issues since then major and minor but just when I start to feel we're turning a corner something else upsets the balance but trying to stay positive and do as much as I can when I can. We are hoping to get a dog later this year as we have a holiday planned for October half-term as due to hubby's op we have been unable to plan anything else. Hubby is making amazing progress and we can really see the benefits of his op.

The £150 from my friend was totally unexpected but as she said it would have cost to have him in kennels. She could have left the dog at home and her parents would have gone to visit it and take it out but she was reluctant to put them under any pressure as her dad is 85 and her mum has dementia so they really have enough on their plates without worrying about the dog. Plus it was great experience for our son who has been wanting a dog since forever.

Thank you again for your kindness and sorry for the waffling on.

I would love to say something great, but CBC already did too good a job. Keep going and look after yourself. Getting a dog will be a nice thing to look forward to :)

  • Congratulations to everyone on all the money they're making:T. You're all doing a lot better than me so far this month:o

£5 payout from Pinecone has just trickled in though:j. I'm going to have to pull out all the stops as there's nothing much in the pipeline either.
  • £8 via Paypal from postal survey. Not much for a whole month of entering data about received items and then posting stuff back but every little helps;)

Another late night for me. This is getting to be a habit:eek:. I've been reading a brilliant book:j and am desperate to finish it but there are too many pages left to get to the end tonight and I'm finding it hard to keep my eyes open. Having a quick catch-up on here and then off to bed.

    Goodnight all.

I've been up late each night too... hubby is on night shift and I e been spring cleaning (technically it's a ruse for my eBay stock hunting ) but last night put my boys to bed and literally the second I sat for a cuppa I fell asleep! At 2200!!! Thats my earliest night in years!!!

    A couple more additions:
    £20.32 PA
    10p Citizenme

Less than a pound away from 3 figures! I had aimed for £100 by the end of today.. I think that's close enough although might have a quick go on Qmee to see if I can get it to £100..

Disaster... baby ate my phone and the display looks dodgy... turned it off and hoping it will dry overnight and be fine as buying a new one would be very expensive! Fingers crossed..

It sounds like a bad homework excuse doesn't it?! Baby is teething and also trying to stand... didn't notice he had got it from the high up sofa and then chewed it to relieve his teething pain.. apparently it was good because he seemed much better after!

  • Hi all, this is my first official post with earnings as Ive completely forgotten to update. My nights have been spent completing surveys and trying to earn as much as possible but slow start so far on those. So far I've earnt:

Sunday £111 from overtime (before tax not sure how to work this out after tax)
    Wednesday £82.79 cashing topcashback
    Friday £7 from Avon

I've earnt £5 through Qmee so far but can't decide whether to cash this out now or hold out for bigger pay out :s what does everyone else tend to do?

I grab and run... you never know when things might go bust/stop working and there is no downside to cashing out often. I just cashed out for 30p! Sometimes I don't bother if it's below 20p, but I have never been much over £1.
