Removing a window

Could anyone give a ball park figure for removing a window and bricking up the opening? Size is approx., 4' x 5'

  • Yes, a builder probably could.

You'll need to provide a bit more info (where you are in the country, whether it's double skin wall, what kind of bricks, whether its ground / first / second floor). Lots of variables will affect the price.

  • Cheers,

I've got matching bricks. It's on the ground floor and is double skinned (I haven't got breeze blocks or any other materials) part of a ten year old extension. Based in Yorkshire
  • Thanks, that's all helpful. I'd be surprised if it was more than a days work for a couple of guys. I'd suggest you would get change out of £400.
