Poll started 4 May 2005: How much do you do to save energy and money in the home?

a. Nothing. It’s not worth the hassle

b. Active. Turn lights off, half-fill the kettle

c. Willing to spend. Bought double glazing, insulation etc

d. Everything.

I like to think I do my bit. I recycle lots of our rubbish and put out the boxes for newspapers/bottles/jars/etc. We now have a garden waste bin so deead flowers and plant prunings go in there. Lights go off etc. Unfortunately cos I live in a rented house, we can't change the windows. If I could, I'd put double glazing in - it would bring the heating bills down!!!
