Hi all...just moved over here from the 'less than 12 wks' board, as my scan has dated me at 13 (My estimations weren't toooo far off, I thought I was 11+6)! Now got a DD of 25/10.

    Hi Bosscout

    Congratulations

There is a 12-24 week pregnancy thread before this one (obviously you can post wherever you like!)

I think it may be empty at the moment but if some more people will be moving up from the 12 week thread soon, should be busier again

Hope you get the referal soon Mary!

All ok here. OH's blood pressure is measuring very low. Last pregnancy her platelets dropped all the way through but never reached dangerous levels thankfully. Went back to normal afterwards.

Baby was breach at growth scan which explains why all the kicks have been so low this time. But at her midwife appointment a few days later babies head was down. Kicks have been much higher since then.

Although of course the baby could flip around multiple times before he settles into final position.

Hi Freddie - thanks, found the other board :)

Mary Hinge - I hope your physio appointment comes through soon. I was told to call up for an appointment, but this morning got a letter telling me when my appointment was! Before I'd got around to calling. Stuff seems to vary so much from place to place.
  • I waited 10 weeks for my physio appointment - by the time I got it they had to give me crutches. I say I waited 10 weeks, after 10 weeks I gave up, found a private specialist who gave me advice on chasing up my nhs appointment myself as well. I'm keeping moving by restricting moving (for me!), Pilates and until the recent weather, hot baths and hot water bottles. Funnily enough I don't feel like the latter two at the moment...

Crap at the moment. OH is under ridiculous pressure at work. It's reached the point that she's coming home in tears every night and even breaking down at work.

She's feeling physically sick at the thought of going back on Monday.

It's not just workload it's constant negativity from leadership. It's all being piled on more and more each day.

There's only 4 week to go til her maternity leave starts but she doesn't feel like she can even manage another day.

We're going to contact her manager tomorrow morning and explain the situation explicitly, in writing, expecting that they will make some allowance because if not she's likely to end up being signed off with stress.

She has now been signed off til the start of her maternity leave. Thank goodness!

Been really worried about her the last couple of weeks - not her usual self at all.

She's got a decent chance to recover now and enjoy the rest of her pregnancy. Will contact Union to make sure they're aware of the situation in case things are bad when she does return to work.

Growth scan fine again, following the same curve.

Got appointment letters through for 37 and 40 week growth scans.

Hope you're all well and enjoying the long weekend!
