Well done on all the cashback :T
I'd check out if there are any extra fees like booking and survey/valuation. Sounds good for an offset rate thoughPay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

What a productive weekend, shopping, meal planning etc etc all done. Time spent on all businesses, purchased home insurance (£28 cash back )
Went to cinema with daughter, only it was sold out so we had a c0sta instead, took DS out driving twice (Mum do you want me to take you to the shop for anything?:rotfl:)
Set up 2 new direct debits from my Halifax extra, as the old one's had ended I'd not noticed I wasn't getting the £5 bonus every month until last month
Cooked a roast, plus a curry for the week, boiled chicken bones for stock.
Had neighbours round for drinks, forcing me to clean the house :A
Did my sums on the mortgage, the saving over full term is £5026 including fees, over 10 years it would be £2118 and that doesn't include the offset savings, which of course would be tax free. I'm going to apply, it looks a good deal.
That's me up to date I think, have a good week, even though it is back to work after the lovely Christmas break for most of us :eek:Pay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Welcome to MFW land!
SOA looks good (except the water, wow! We pay £90 every 6 months, albeit for 2 people rather than 3).
Hope you get good news on the mortgage application, savings looks fab.0 -

AleMrsT Thank you MrsT happy new year to you too
hiddenshadow thank you, I just hit the payment dates for the water wrong, it'll come down loads when I get the meter fitted
Ali-OK thank you, I thought the mortgage people would have rung me today but I heard nothing, maybe tomorrow. DS is actually a good driver, I feel very comfortable with him, DD is a different story!
NSD today, and working away tonight so dinner out, and £80 milage claim.
Working on 1 new vid for youtube, and have had some good sales from website today too, so fingers crossed that continues.
Also had my anual review today which went well, wanted to tell him I'd applied for another job, but it never sort of came up and then we had to vacate the meeting room as someone else was waiting for it, but I should tell him really.

A meter should help quite a bit! Our bill dropped in half when we bought our house and ended up on a meter.
Glad your review went well! Mine's next month, always get nervous about them even though I'm sure it'll be fine.0 -
