new doors for an old ikea kitchen

Hi, I have an 5 year old faktum kitchen and want to buy new doors for it. Unfortunately Ikea don't supply them any more. Can anyone help recommend a place to buy them that won't break the bank or involve the existing kitchen being ripped out and whole new one being fitted?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Ikea were still sell the FAKTUM doors as special replacements etc. so you could ask nicely. They must still have some as the guarantee is nearly endless!

Our kitchen is a 5 year old FAKTUM as well. I've just repainted the room, upgrdaded the worktops, sink and tap and it already looks great. I am waiting for tiles to be fitted.

Our carpenter is here now changing my hinges for Hettich ones. It's looking tighter already.

Are your doors that bad looking after 5 years?

You can order them in store.

I believe they come from Germany.

They charge delivery depending on the weight.

We ordered 4 lengths of fakum plinths a few months ago I think delivery was £15.00 took about two/three weeks to be delivered.

    No need to beg.

    It is a done thing.

We actually have the new metod units but wanted the deeper plinth that came with the fakum units and was advised by the SA that discontinued stock could be ordered and delivered from Germany.
  • I recommend Noremax . Purpose made doors and drawers for Faktum and Metod kitchens measured by IKEA´s original drawings. This is a Norwegian company with bespoke IKEA fronts for good price. Few different models, any color you can imagine and 3 different levels of gloss. My friend bought their fronts and was very happy. Worth checking out.
