Pleased you got some. I was wondering the other day when I saw the lovely pic of your bacon and eggs whether your poundland ever got the 69p ones in. Ours aways have plenty and it does seem to be an almost permanent offer.Slimming World at target0 -

Had to nip to Lidl for more fruit and bits and spent 4.94 (sig updated). I had £4.50 in my £67 a week budget to last until Thursday morning so am 54p over but fine with that given that it is my first week back on the challenge (I was in budget but got seduced by some Linda Mccartney sausages reduced to 99p, dammit).MSE-ing since 20070

Cleaned the fridge out yesterday and there were 4 yogurts in with BBD of 3rd August so after tasting one to see if they were ok (they were) the others have been made into lollies and 2 trays full of ice cubes.
I also made some soup yesterday using mushrooms, ½ grated courgette, 3 small potatoes, couple of pieces of cauli, stock and milk and it was lovely. There was enough left for our lunches today and I had a pork & salad roll with it. DH had a burger & bun with his. There is some pork left so have changed the meal plan around a little so as its used up tomorrow.
We have cauliflower, beans, cabbage, sweet corn, carrots, celery, pepper, mushrooms, 2 lemons, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cucumber, strawberries, melon, pineapple, 2 bananas, apples, oranges and nectarines to use up.
For tea tonight we had cottage pie using carrot, onion, mushrooms, 2 sticks celery, ½ grated courgette, ½ mug of oats and some mince. Also used the last of our potatoes for the top, didn’t peel them so just roughly squashed them and put them on the top of the pie. Made two for us (one gone in freezer) and two small ones for mum and also she had a couple of slices of pork to have tomorrow.
MARCH £62.38/2500 -
£1 on milk from Mr S (randomly got a bonus 50 nectar points - not sure if this is an offer everyone can get?) - as hubby didnt buy enough at the weekend and £1.39 on some exfoliating scrub (toiletries included in grocery budget). Thought £1.39 was quite good in the end after I saw one for £4.99 in superdrung and £12.50 in the body shop :eek:0

Spend of £5.17 today - milk, lemonade and Spry offer - Mr A.
Dinner was HM Salmon Quiche + HM wedges + Carrots/Onions.
I made a batch of pastry - result - 3 quiches. I have some pastry left in the fridge.
Plus I made JJ's Cheesy Herb Bread - had to use an old cake tin as baking trays all in use.

Do any of you make your own bread? I wouldn't know where to start but may be getting holding of a voucher to buy one.
What I really want to know before I buy one is:
Did you find it a good idea cost-wise?
What would I need ingredients-wise?
I don't want to use the voucher on this if it is going to cost me more in the long run.MSE-ing since 20070
