US $ Currency Cards for 16 Year Olds

We are off to the US this summer and my daughter has saved up her own spending money. She was talking about using her debit card rather than take cash, but I thought a prepaid currency card would be better to avoid transaction fees, however, they all seem to state a minimum age of 18. Any suggestions please?

Choose the Debit card, not the Cash card.0 -
A prepaid currency card would most likely cost more to use than a regular bank debit card. She can avoid all fees with the FlexOne debit card, there's also Starling Bank and Monzo (both mobile only) if she's 16+. ATMs in US nearly all charge a fee dollars, but it's rare not to be able to pay for something by card.Evolution, not revolution0
