Renovating my house

Wondering if anyone here can point me in the right direction... I am completely gutting my house and was wondering if there are any usefull sources to obtain grants or information on this?

Any help would be appreciated.

    here's one that covers Macclesfield to give you some idea,best thing to do is contact your local authority as they can tell you what grants are available in your area.

    firstly it depends on where the property is as councils have differing rules.
    there are grants and loans for essentials ie. bathrooms and kithcens as well as energy efficiency.

    but usually, you need to have been the owner for a while as if you have just purchased the price is supposed to reflect the works required.

    have a look at your local council website.
