  • Hoping to declutter my bookshelves in the spare room today and my wardrobe. I’m sure there’s some things in both that are at least charity shop worthy! OH is planning to do a tip run as well so things I’ve already decluttered will also go from the house (some have been in there for months). Might also declutter the baking cupboard a little and make some cherry scones or something similar.
Yesterday I decluttered lots of cooking magazines (which I’ve also unsubscribed from) today it’s supermarket freebie magazines after looking to see if there any lovely recipes in them to try.

    Happy Saturday everyone!

    Just a few things today.
A pair of jeans complete with broken zip which has been lurking at the bottom of the washing basket (apparently they don't belong to anyone)
Yet another cardboard box (being kept just in case)
Some old free magazines (I don't know why they were being kept or by whom)
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Decluttered the fridge today- lots of sauce bottles with hardly anything left.

That's the tricky bit isn't it. We had a mantelpiece clock i put up with because i thought it came from my beloved late MIL. Only now that it broke i realised it didn't and it will go. I need to be more ruthless without being heartless, i.e. gift or not i need ro decide if i want to keep it/need it.

Home from FIL's soon and will get decluttering

What difference ways are you all finding to do with the items you declutter? Thought it might be fun and useful to compile a list:

    Sell on Facebook
    Sell on eBay
    Charity shop
    Doorstep charity donation bags
    Give to friends/family
    Car bootsale
    Bin/Skip/Tip
    Donate to local school/preschool/playgroup
    Use up food
