  • Having a terrible time at the moment and am a bit ill, so not been able to go and sort out my refunds yet :( I'm determined to go to work tomorrow though so if I have the energy I will try and sort them out while I'm in town. If not, I will send emails tomorrow evening.

My spends for yesterday come to £3.01 as I'm not really sleeping so I'm needing a bit more food to keep me going. Most of it was YS and value, with a few store cupboard bits thrown in for good measure so not too bad! Will probably be another expensive day today as I'm starving, but hopefully will be back on track in a day or 2 :)

Smokies I am so sorry to hear your news that's awful :(

I spent £29.65 in mr m today on nappies, fruit, bread, dog food, some other bits and a reduced chinese meal bag for 2 which was a bit naughty of me. Spent £35 in total as I got my son 2 long sleeved t-shirts and a wooden puzzle for Christmas. Bit annoyed as I forgot my discount card and should have got £3.50 off my total :( I'm in budget with a few £ leftover which should be fine until Friday.

Hi all - been a busy few days as was camping, weather stayed dry so we were very lucky!

NSD this month 9/14 so far - doing well!

Smokies - sorry to hear about your house :/ hope it can be sorted for you

Spend of £43.60 at Mr T's delivery on Sunday which would have been £54.60 if it wasn't for my delivery saver and £5.00 money off which is great. Got a big shoulder of pork which was half price and will be cut in half and frozen for two lots of roasties and then a few days worth after (and a happy dog).

Had to nip out and get dog food yesterday but only £3.53. OH redeemed himself Sunday as I was desperate for a takeaway as I was too knackered to cook. Instead he suggested we use the camembert we had in the fridge, and he made some home made chips. Was yummy, a lot cheaper but did make me ill on Monday which is pointing a lot more towards the dairy intolerance which i am gutted about. Going to avoid it completely this week, then at my sisters on Saturday for drinks and pizza (NSD as she owes me for a 5ive concert ticket but has said she will treat me for the day Sat instead, yey!) so will see how Sunday makes me feel.

Only got about £36 left for two weeks, however I bought mainly storecupboard stuff and bulked the freezer out so should just need top ups for the next two weeks. We shall see!

    Love x

Small spend £1.25 for golden syrup in H*me B's. I probably looked a right idiot as I got my phone out to check whether it was cheaper per kg than Mr T's as was a different size pot!

  • £50.04 spent in Ald* today, included a whole chicken, sliced fillets, beef mince and meatballs, loads of fruit, veg, bread and fridge stuff so quite happy and shouldn't need much now for the rest of the week.

  • Much appreciated. Do you think this would work in the slow cooker? I normally make little puds in there in old containers from previous puds.

I did this in my slow cooker for 5-6 hours on low and just put the mixture directly in the crockpot and didn't bother with a pudding basin. In fact the recipe I had was off a slow cooker fb page :) x
