It is so hard to stop using the cc. I pay mine off each month but boy do I waste money on rubbish even when I am trying to be good. Well done on focussing on your savings.

It is isn't it.
Spent on it again at the weekend but will sort it all out over the next few days.
February I will do better with this, it's an old habit that I need to get out of so will take some time.

Im the same. I got a bit carried away and spent £160 on credit card over xmas so will pay this off after I get paid and then only buy essentials from this month onwards.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Morning peeps,
So a wee update from me.
I've added the following amounts;
* £400.00 - My Home Fund (total £800.00)
* £300.00 - Mallorca Fund (total £313.00)
I've decided to take out the extra that I have been saving from My Home Fund to keep in a separate bank, could probably call this my Emergency Fund. I need to get car insurance in March so think that money would be better spent on that rather than adding the full amount to the CC.
Still on target to hit these goals!

Hey SW,
Not a great start to the week, skidded on black ice this morning and front passenger wheel bumped the kerb, dented the wheel in.
I called the Greenflag who sent someone out and they said it would be fine to drive to a tyre place, went to a wee local place and they fixed it for £10 - bargain! Thought I was going to be majorly out of pocket.
Got a fright and thankfully no one was on the pavement otherwise I could have run them over!
It's not until something like this happens that you realise you are driving about a deadly weapon!
