Just been trying to find what PlusNet say, but as per usual, I can find my way through their arcane, labyrinthine website.

I have Plusnet Caller Display and while it used to cost 99p it's now free. It works most of the time but sometimes it inexplicably gets turned off. A typical response from the telephone support is:
I'm trying to find out why caller display was turned off
Then they turn it on and it works until the next time it is inexplicably turned off.

Maybe the caller just withhold his number.

Just spoke with Now TV to add Caller Display and they confirmed that it is now free (used to be £1pm charge).

    And... it's now working.

Just checked and mine still isn't, guess I'll have to call them.

That would show on caller display as "number withheld".

Sounds like some of their CSRs fail to read their daily briefings (or whatever they're called in Skyworld)

Vodafone are now advertising free caller display as a feature included with their broadband. I contacted them to request it and they added it to my landline number within a few minutes. :)

Just used live chat on NowTV to add mine since they appear to be slow to update it themselves, perhaps they need to do it manually for each account as I don't know how their systems work.

I used https://help.nowtv.com/gb/get-in-touch/broadband-calls/my-broadband-or-calls-arent-working and clicked on the Chat Online option, the agent popped up almost instantly so they're pretty quite at the moment.

They need your full name, first line of address and postcode and the last 4 digits of your payment card number as security check (or at least mine did) and it was really quick. I suspect they're getting lots of practice doing this.

I've just checked my account and my charges have increased by £1 despite stating when I spoke to them to get it added that it is supposed to be free. Guess I'l have to try again...
