Mum's Planning a DRO - Will it affect me?

My mother's health has deteriorated over the past months, so much so that she has found it increasingly difficult to keep up with her CC bill. They have adviced her to apply for a DRO, which would really help but my question is, would this have any effect on my chances of buying the place or affect my credit in any way? :beer:

    No your mums dro will have no affect on you.

    Who have? The credit card company?

    You're 'buying the place' from your mum? Does she own her house?
