Capcha pictures going blank

For some reason, I have recently had problems with captchas going blank.
When I click on a palm tree or a bus etc the whole of the captcha box goes blank.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
I am using Safari on a MacBook.

Is it the ones where you have to keep clicking photos of, say, bikes until there are no photos of bikes left, because sometimes when I do those the square goes blank for what seems like a long time until another picture pops up, I find it is quite slow, I use safari on iPad.0

Yes - those are the ones but it's not just the one square for one picture that goes blank, it's the whole box full of pictures as soon a si click on one and even when I refresh the page or capacha nothing changes but the same comp's capcha will work fine on my Windows netbook!0
