  • Evening everyone,

Have had a spendy day. Took little one to soft play, visited the butchers, and picked up some new kitchen storage tubs in poundstretchers. Online shop also arrived. Brings my spends for the month to £305.03/£350.

The £2 I was awaiting from Qmee arrived. Cashed out a further 63p from there and a £2 Amazon voucher from Ipsos. Extra income is now at £30.13 and I have £13.49 in Amazon vouchers to put towards the little ones kindle.

Did some batch cooking for the little one this evening. Vegetable soup x3 and spicy chicken and vegetables x4. Will do some more tomorrow.

Finished reading another book, still 3 behind on my challenge though!

Today I am grateful for prompt deliveries.

    I went mad yesterday.
Took out £100 from the cashpoint and have £25 left.
    Totally unlike me.

I think it was because I have agreed to spend £580 on a plasterer next week and it blew my ever-budget-loving mind. I am terrified of spending the money I am saving to do the jobs that need doing. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Bought some lunchbox stuff for kids. But not much
Bought some veg to see us through the weekend.
Bought shelf brackets for a few places I am going to be putting up 'surprise shelves'. DH is going away for the weekend with his mates so I will do some diy and get the niggly bits done that finish a room.
Bought some picture hook screw brackety keyhole type things to get a few mirrors off the floors and onto the walls.
Bought a pack of rocket seeds for £1
Boughtanother 4 white pillow cases - I am starting to think the kids are eating them.

Still need some more white airtex shirts for DS 3 and 4. The factor lead sunblock colours the necklines yellow. Marvellous. More shirts wasted, but it is the last 12 weeks of school so I can cope with a small spend.

Hayfevered into total incapacity. Can't keep a thought in my head. Forgot how to change gears yesterday while going to rescue DH from the garage - he had a flat tyre and rang me to come get him. I asked why he did not just change the tyre and he told me he has never had a spare tyre for his car. I never knew that!! He let me drive his kids all over Ireland with no flippin spare tyre?? Outrageous!! Apparently it makes sense to him.

Today will be baking for lunchboxes as it is practically all I am good for, and wishing I could run like Mo Farrah (but with boobs).

    Grateful for;
anti-histamines for mildly taking the edge off (I am not sneezing - if I were I would not be baking - eww!).

For having made my cunning plan for diy next weekend.

For DH taking DS3 and 4 for a runaround the woods and then 3 of them swimming yesterday.

For finding all the dresses that are too long for me, that still fit, and knowing I can bondaweb the bottoms and not have to buy any more clothes.

    Hi all

    A- today is NSD #11.
    P- nothing new budget wise.
    R- here I am :D
I- no baking today although I have been working through the odd bits & bobs in my freezer - tonight I used the last pie from a box for my kids dinner & tomorrow morning I'll be making breakfast wraps to make use off 4 left over wraps & 3 sausages I need to get through.
L- not much today , got one of my fancy smelling candles on the burn whist I do some reading. If my kids ever go to sleep.
F- not a lot today unfortunately- we have swimming lessons on a Sunday & so we are indoors or in the car.
O- trying to stick to the theme of using what I have in the house & make use of what I already have available to me so I am being organised in that sense. I am currently drinking a fruit tea that I've had forever & I have been reading books to the kids that I haven't read them before.
    O- no overpaying :(
L- not much phone time :D
S- grateful for my children eating well today & daffodills

Well done x_raphael_xx onfinishing the marathon -bet it's a breezy course. I watched the London marathon today and am in awe of people who can get around the course.

Today I am grateful for a chilled out day, for dh doing a food shop, for dd pottering around, for the warm weather staying for the whole weekend, for fresh bed linen, for finishing off 10 elephants, for dd doing her maths homework happily, for upping the challenge with my kettlebell workout, for meeting a newish neighbour.

It was sunny but with a nice breeze, with a cooling drizzle at the end :p It's a nice route cos apart from a short sharp hill at the very beginning, and the 3 mile long hill up past the Marina, it's lovely and flat. I live in a very hilly city which is good training :D

Nice day today, strolled into town with BF and the pup. I did spend, but I bought 2 pairs of shorts for less than the single pair I was tempted with yesterday. Found a new Pokemon in town (had to power walk into the Uni campus to catch it before it disapeared :p)
After lunch BF finished painting the yard, which is looking really good, while I baked a cake for the charity bake sale in work tomorrow.
While it was cooling I took the shorts for a trial run, my first since the marathon. Knees are a little achy, but felt good. I'm going to stick to short mileage this week, then get back to the training for my approaching 10k and half marathon.

Aim for at least [STRIKE]15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]25[/STRIKE] 22 NSDs. 13/22 NSDs. Spend day today, not going to hit my target.
[STRIKE]Pay to your debt first.[/STRIKE]Mums monthly payment made.
Report in every day. Back again
Interests - Gaming. New Pokemon caught :D
Love yourself. Iced coffee quaffed in town :)
Find time to get outside. Walk into town and back, then a sunny run.
    Overpay - More surveys.
Organise your month. Nothing planned for the rest of the month.
Lose one bad habit. - Not practicing my sax. Didn't practice today again :o not good.
Sign off with a gratitude. Today I am grateful to be able to hang the washing on the line

P.S. I wished I could have watched the London Marathon today, but I don't have TV. I did google to see how Mo did. Very pleased he broke a record, even if he didn't win. Especially as he was dissapointed with his results the first time he ran it 4 years ago.

    Evening everyone,

    NSD #8 for me today.

Did a wash, ironed some clothes, cooked for the little one (cheesy tomato risotto x3, chicken and rice x3, mince curry x4), had a shower, watched the Stephen Lawrence programmes that were on BBC recently, visited my mum and started a new book.

Grateful for being productive, relaxing, finally getting my OU assignment back and passing with 90% :j.
