Hi
I am in the process of buying a property that is built on an area with a Chancel Liability. Mortgage and solicitors say it is not an issue but best to insure for around £50.00 one off fee. Can anyone provide details on if an issue around reselling the property and also any recommendations on insurance companies that I should use?

If you know the house is liable to Chancel rates then you cannot insure against it. The point of insurance is to guard against the risk that you might be.0
