Edit - think it's VT's birthday I missed, happy belated birthday xxzippydooda wrote: »actually bubbs there are 5 palmolives. but 3 at 85p, one at a £1 and one at £1.40
they will all work but ill let you work out the final price of the others :D
so tomorrow you could get 6 of the 85p ones = £5.10, mag £1.20, cappuccino £2.25 mail for £1.70 and pay £2.38 or less depending on roundingOne shirt of OHs I did not particularly like and he carelessly left it on the dining room table
He does realise there is a rule that anything left on the dining room table is destined for boxing and/or bagging for the next charity shop run - he does not realise this rule also applies to him and any belongs he leaves on the table.
so after a week of the shirt being strewn on the dining room table I saw :mad: and it did indeed get put into a charity bag. Unfortunately on the afternoon we were doing the charity shop run OH spotted it between the back door and the car and it was removed from the charity bag where it had taken up residence
He said "my favourite shirt!" - obviously not
Then he pinned it on the washing line and there it remained in wind, rain, hail and snow for about 6 months - I was waiting to see how long it was before he re claimed his favourite shirt :rotfl:
Eventually at the start of Feb when we were going up to York for the weekend he finally rescued it from the washing line :rotfl:
This really made me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
We were in Chester very early and it was very quiet.
In Thorntons we were only allowed to choose anything from the top 2 rows - a bit odd as when we got them earlier in the week we could choose any of the £3 bags.
I think the last bus I used was the York park and ride one. I would quite like to have a bus pass but we are too far from the border so it will be about 10 years before I get issued with one :mad: Mind you I don't think we even have a bus now that does our route - I'd have to do about 15 mins walk to get to the nearest bus stop to go anywhere
We walk from the station along the canal path now and come up by Tesco at the bottom of Frodsham Street. We didn't realise that Frodsham street is being relaid - not even sure now where the rail bus drops off
Also something seems to have been built on Goosetack car park but not sure exactly what ...
When I was there on Tuesday it was any shelf then went to first 3 shelves .0 -

A query please for an ebay expert.
Does anyone know how to do a combined postage discount on ebay?
I seemed to think you could alter the postage on the bottom line of an invoice but so many things have changed on ebay I don't know for sure. And its years since I've sold 2 things together.
Not for me - looking at the list I don't think I will sell anything this week at all ...
Go to send invoice and change it at the bottom where it has the postage price hthSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Well I had a busy week flying to Geneva to collect my sis to come home to Mums to recuperate with her broken leg. She was in hospital 2 weeks and a private clinic for 3 more which was costing her insurers nearly £900.00 per day. Anyway got back late Thursday night and went to work yesterday for 1/2 day.
Went to my DD's for the afternoon and evening. Oh brought me home at 9.30pm as I had left my keys behind earlier. He opened the door for me and we were greeted by water cascading through the hall , bathroom and kitchen lights. I went to switch on a light and got a shock.
OH drained down the tank , switched off the water and managed to switch off the electric with a stick. I was in bits and managed to call out the emergency cover chap. This was at 10p.m.and we decided to leave it till morning as he was going to take 3 hours to come.
So went to DD'S for the night ( didnt sleep much!!)
Repair chap came this morning and fixed the tank ( something to do with the ballcock.)
The insurance said I could get a hotel as I cant have the power back on until its dried out and the assesor cant come till Monday.
So I am in the brand new Premier Inn 5 minutes from home for 2 night initially.
So any advice of how to deal with assesor gratefully received.
My hall, lounge , landing and stair carpets are all soaking. My bedroom carpet is soaking too as is my memory foam mattress. There is water in my airing cupboard, bedroom cupboard and some on the edge of bedroom no 3. You can see water marks on the kitchen ceiling and the light in the shower exploded.
At the moment I just have towels down to soak it up0 -

Ohhh rose so sorry:eek: when i had a leak not as bad as that but through kitchen ceiling, when the assessor came , we were supplied with industrial driers to dry walls and ceiling out.
We had to remove some kitchen cupboards as they need to dry out and all the tiles just fell off kitchen walls
But when they tested ceiling we had asbestos so then had to have specialist out to remove ceiling and put in a new oneSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

They said the assessor would arrange dryers when he comes. Only downside is the excess is £350.00 as its a water leak.0
