Hello,
I am looking at a couple of sites with Persimmon:
https://www.persimmonhomes.com/the-pastures-10299
https://www.persimmonhomes.com/the-willows-10591
and having read the horror stories around freehold/leasehold im trying to find if these sites are freehold. Is there anyway to find out (the persimmon website doesnt say) such as online resources?
The sites are closed for two days hence why i cannot ring.

If both sites are closed try giving head office a call, they should be able to give you this info.0

you can check whether a property is freehold on this Government website:

It's not going to be much use for a property which hasn't previously been registered under its own title - all the existing registers can tell you is that Persimmon (presumably) own the freehold to the building site, not whether they intend to sell the freehold or a leasehold.squirrel99 wrote: »you can check whether a property is freehold on this Government website:

Decided, yes. But don't think it's actually been legislated yet.I thought all new build houses had to be freehold now ?
Wouldn't touch a new build leasehold house with a bargepole anyway, let alone cos they'll be even harder to sell in the very near future!
