First Anniversary First Post Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
When shopping in a supermarket that price matches put anything you've bought that is reduced or on offer through as a separate transaction so it doesn't cancel out the price match on stuff that's cheaper elsewhere.
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

We were discussing money saving tips at work the other day, and a colleague said "a bottle of champagne weighs the same as a melon."

Took me a moment to realise what she was on about.
  • Co-Op employees get a plus one discount card in addition their own.

Valid for food, bank errrr funeral (god forbid) etc .

Go have a browse around the world food section at the supermarket! Some brands are way cheaper than the ones you normally recognise and are just as tasty. Tinned tomatoes, noodles, sauces etc

NHS employees get 20% off with EE on their monthly bill. Pretty decent to be fair.

Is this just EE mobile, or does it apply to Broadband too?

That's not a money saving tip. That's theft.

I was given one of these as a present. It's great for making soups, stews etc. It makes great risottos (no standing around constantly stirring) and currys, slow cooks, quick cooks and makes yogurt. Saves money on fuel, but what I like most is that when it has finished cooking it switches itself to keep warm mode so I don't have to worry about overcooking or burning the food! I can go off walking the dogs or do a bit of gardening and come home to a hot meal:)

Some brilliant suggestions so far! The splitting your shopping NEVER occurred to me!!!

ETA - it should have been obvious, but it just didn't really twig... I'm feeling a little slow right now ;)
