Need to get myself together: The beginning 16th Sep 14 at 12:38 PM
    Hi all

I am back. Short story, I was in this position before though holding a baby in my arms and his dad left us with a loan I got for him (I naively believed there was people after him) and such a bad overdraft. I managed to scrape it back and pay it all off and was on a high (figuratively) of being debt free.

Four years on I have been left (no baby this time) and foolishly beleived this guy was decent. No need to tell me off or should have known better, believe me I am my own worst enemy.

So now my debts are :

1,000 overdraft (hope to clear by Christmas or least by January)
200 odds Next (Yeah this is me I cannot blame anyone but myself here) I want it cleared by Christmas at least
5,000 loan ( I am mad I know for having got it for him and he "says"will help with this but will not hold my breath as he is already asking for more money - probably for the girl he left me for...) I hope to pay this back in 2.5 years not the 5 year plan I was given.

Anyway, I am determined and I will not fail

Also need to put money aside for America in May 2015. (125 a month) and also 52 week challenge. The reason I am going to America is its my 30th and my mum and dad are paying for this.

The first post is longer than I thought it would be I am so sorry!!

Hopefully I will be back on track soon xx

Do they make or just sell the furniture? If just sell, can you tell who makes it & try going direct?

That's terrible about the couch, I would put in a complaint after you've received your couch and include trading standards with your complaint xx

I will look and see if I can find the address and do that Abba. They sell the couch. The website still says that price I saw so its not changed.

Went to Carlisle, safe to say I will not be going back, without going into details I am really let down by what happened.

    10 days to payday xx

Tonight seeing my friend and treating her to chinese will not say why but it is very much needed. This weekend going to Driftwood with my friend to use our groupon and then hers for some drinks. Then a quiet one for rest. Want to proper clean my house for new couch in couple weeks and hope I get a phone call next week about delivery date. If I do not hear by Wednesday will contact them and ask about it.

Finish up next Friday for my summer holidays, will be just days out with my boy .... unless I win money... lets all laugh at that lol :P

Off to read some diaries xx

Morning. Sorry I have not posted. For no reason just did not post lol.

Two days til payday finally! Will have my couch money ready (awaiting call for delivery date this week, if not heard by tomorrow will message and ask)

The weekend was really good. Friday night ended up being lets say drunk understatement but really needed it tbh, in my friends singing (albiet so badly, theres video backing my claim up though my friends a liar saying I was on point....) Saturday I had my niece and took her to softplay and Sunday me and my boy chilled by walking everywhere as we love walking

This weekend Friday night quiet one but packing as off to Newcastle for the weekend I cannot wait! Off following two weeks and have a few things planned with my boy like getting his mop cut (spiderman design in as hes allowed any design while off school) going to see Spiderman, day trips out here and there in Scotland also No holidays abroad but sacrificed for couch

Nothing else to add that I can think of. Had an unexpected factor bill for my house but I had the money to pay for it. Also as couch bill higher than normal only paying off 50 to overdraft and bringing it down to 500. I have to take in holidays for this.

July I have savings to think of, my sisters 40 to pay for and my sons school uniform to pay for going back (not even summer holidays and I am thinking of this already :P) plus he needs new trainers but getting this off June wage xx

    Hey.

My couch is here and its sooo pretty. Honestly I am in love !!! Now going to start saving for fence round my garden as its rotting away, after paying off for my sisters 40th present !

Enjoyed my 2 weeks off, did not really do much just enjoyed resting and not having to rush around with my son spending time with him

Going to pay off more to my overdraft did not spend as much as I thought I would so down to 450 . End of the month will be 400. Aiming paid off by Christmas

Hope you are all well. Off to do a catch up aka Nosey

    9 days til payday xx

Going on my lunch to bank and gonna actually put my overdraft down to 400! Bite the bullet I can manage I get paid next week

Then next week reduce to 325, by August wage will be 250 and then see from there

Soon will be starting my sons birthday planning. He literally does not know what he wants. I will get him a hoverboard and hoverscateboard. No idea what else, he has everything. I asked my mum to get him the new TKD outfit since he took a stretch and can see his ankles in his current one lol! They cost blinking 52 so be big help . Also need to get him a TKD bag, they cost 30. Saw a deal on groupon 100 for Rize which is like Flipout so probably book that. I try do something different every year xx

Definitely not just you, Monz. I feel like it's a never ending cycle of paying money out for things. I'd like to be able to actually put money in savings and not having to take it out at some point!
