Had a quick call from the DWP this morning - just to keep me posted (this was the supervisor), he is sending an email to the person that should be dealing with my case and he IS escalating it - they will phone again as soon as they know something. He didn't quite use the term FUBAR but he did say that something had gone wrong in the system.

So much for the FUBAR - got the letter today and no change - how the flip they can justify this when I cannot walk 20 m without stopping and if I do it one day that is me burgered for the rest of the flipping week!

We did draft the letter - not sure if we should send it or concentrate on the appeal/tribunal first :(

Ah! I have exactly *no* experience - but an appeal sounds most logical. I've heard of people getting support from advocates working for the charity that represents their need - because of my former occupation, that was usually MIND - is there anyone like that for you?

I'm not sure there is Karma - but I am going to phone my Doctor tomorrow and see if he will write a letter (possibly adding in letters etc from specialists!) and my CBT counsellor has offered to write something as well :o
