Haven't even got out of bed yet and I'm irritated.
-The badly behaved cat peed in the laundry basket so all my summer clothes have had to go back in the wash and I'll have to wear jeans today.
-I've pulled a muscle in my leg and have to drag it behind me, quasimodo style
-OH ate all the bread so I can't have toast for breakfast

Or bus is in a line of traffic and stops to pick someone up / let someone off. Why do cars feel it necessary to try and overtake and sit on the outside of the bus so that it can't move off. Yes, they may gain 2 or 3 car spaces, but in the grander scheme of things ... so what!

I was out with the dog on our first walk this morning just before 7am and 2 women crossed our path about 25 yards in front of us and the taller of the 2 gave me such a look of distain and disgust that has stayed with me all day
Nothing was said and the other one did not even look in my direction

I have been depressed by this look all day until my last walk this evening which I will explain on the smile thread.

Was a lovely day so I went to Waitrose in the next town. Bus home was 15 mins late which was bad enough but then as we got to the university the driver told us to get off the bus and wait for the next one.

No apology. Waited there another 15 mins at a stop with no seats and the sun at at angle to hit my eyes.

New bus then packed tight and struggled to get off at my stop with 2 bags of heavy shopping as the aisles were crowded.

Funnily enough I was telling Col this morning...it's always Thursdays I feel like this. It's been going on for years and I always used to think it was because I worked Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, then had Wednesday off. And then struggled to get going again on a Thursday. But even now I'm not working Thursdays are still that horrible no energy day

Around the entrance to my road are double yellow lines which are totally ignored. Same goes for some more about 100 yards down the road. Who do I contact to ask the parking patrol officers to have a field day? The double yellow lines were obeyed until the beginning of the year. It's very dangerous and difficult to leave my road with vehicles (half are vans and small lorries). Also why has people now ignoring the signs?
