How to exchange USD in England? 16th Jun 17 at 10:33 AM
I have a couple of thousands of USD and want to exchange it to GBP. The exchange rate of GBP/USD is below 1.28 but the best rate to buy USD is 1.38. This means almost 10% spread/overload. When I exchange money in other countries, the spread (the difference between buy and sell rates) is about 1%.

Where can I find a fair rate to exchange USD to GBP.

Or can I open a USD account or get a USD Debit Card to spend the money online?

You don't use a company that went belly-up some years ago!

Please ask in an appropriate forum.
