    I was going to post something similar, it is pleasant up here in the North, sunny blue skies but around 20 degrees which is hardly a heatwave

    30 degrees here and my wife and I are sitting outside with a cold drink enjoying it. We normally have to travel abroad to find warmth like this.

    Started work at 5am to avoid the heat of the day, and drove in needing fog lights

    Sun broke through around 10 am and its a glorious 28oC
    if you lend someone 20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it

    Lovely Morning sunny, was nice when I went to the park about one hour ago although a cool breeze from the East and now the cloud has come in from the East.....must be the cloud from the Sea.....

    I don't like the sticky muggy nights thsi weather gives. Bedroom is currently 25C - with a fan on.

    Glorious again today in little old Burnley. 28 degrees. What with keep going for a beer or two in the beer garden after work, i'm starting to feel like I'm on a long holiday abroad, lol

    Looks like a scorcher. May go for a swim in the river later although, obviously, that will depend on the temperature of the water. Should be OK after this long warm spell.
