Bless you it's about all I remember from O Level French!

I don't I only work part time as I am ill it's just a v draining job. lol.
Ps has anyone heard that some cash machines will no longer allow free withdrawals? I shall be so upset if my shops start charging to withdraw cash. Remember when this happened in the 1990s? Then I was a student and I didn't mind paying but I am not paying now.

Today I bought 2worth of junk at work! I also gave 5 to a collection. No other things purchased. Im being good. Just two more days till the weekend and then I can chill. Cant wait. Its supposed to rain for the next few days I hope it happens before the weekend as I fancy some chill out time in the garden.

I don't ever seem to get any vouchers any more as the summer hols is when I fill in surveys however today I have been sent a Gfk voucher for 25 which I am going to redeem and put towards Christmas presents. So happy. This is thanks to Steve and Andy. Hurrah.

Excellent news on the voucher! I have a tendency to get enthusiastic about survey sites for a few weeks and do a flurry of them and then get disheartened at how long it takes to accrue enough points to cashout and ignore them for several months!!

I saw a headline about cash machines starting to charge (I think the one I read said 1/3rd?) but I've not actually read the details as to why it might happen (or is happening). Maybe it's to get us to use the cashback option at the tills in supermarkets and stop us all being antisocial and using the self-service options

hello ladies, I always go to a till as I don't like self service and I think they will lose their jobs if we don't.

All is well here. I woke up late but I have done some laundry, hung lodgers washing out to dry and done some dusting. I still have jobs to do:
    • vacuuming
    • Mopping
    • and cleaning of bathrooms
    • ironing.
    • loads of marking

I am so happy with the long weekend. Yay. So far the weather looks bright and breezy which is great for drying.

It is looking gorgeous outside but I bet its cold.

I did lots of marking and I have plenty to do tomorrow too but this is my busiest two weeks and then I can take a more relaxed approach. I am so pleased at how much I have done.

This week is going by v quickly. So far I have spent 37 on groceries and 25 on taxi fares including medical visits.

I have just spent 8 on bargain foundation which is usually 4 times that price!

All is well and I am happy it feels as though it is almost summer.

Thank you Dolly, it was too good to resist.

OK confession time I ordered some Tritelia and Anemone purple plants for the garden total cost 8 for the summer.

As penance I have tidied the house from top to bottom and done two loads of washing and line dried them. I have also requested a rug cleaning firm to visit so they can clean the rug in my spare bedroom as the man that fit the cable in there put a muddy footprint on it ages ago. I am hoping I can get it for half price. I will put the cost on here after he visits.

I am going to rest then will have to do some marking.

Well done on all the cleaning and washing. I hope you can get a good deal on the carpet cleaning. I have thought about hiring a carpet cleaner for my living room & hall carpet which gets the most wear and being cream gets the dirtiest ! We bought the carpet before we got the puppy ! Not sure if it would be too hard for me though with my bad back.

It is only a tiny rug and it cost 30 to be scotch guarded and cleaned which I think is a rip off but at least its done. Rubbish bargain that was!

I guess then reducing the cash point payments to operators is a push towards a cashless society, as they are now rolling out the biometric debit/credit cards its only a matter of time.

Indeedy and then people will have to work so much harder to save their money as it will be intangible. It's all so Blade Runner isn't it?

I have worked hard all day doing three days marking in two days. I am planning to have a nice day tomorrow with students on a trip bar filling in a few forms. Hurrah. Maybe two more weeks and most of my work is over. Hurrah. Hurrah.

I have done some watering in the garden but the lawn desperately needs doing I will try one night after work this week and I still have to plant my 4 new clematis plants. I am waiting for some more plants to arrive this week in total I have spent 30 on plants and that is it for the summer.

Ah I would love a garden.

We have a communal one but the rest of the neighbours are so messy, they all have dogs who they let poop everywhere and none of them pick it up

So annoying especially now the nice weather is coming in.

Thank you Skinty and Dolly it has taken 10 years for me to start decorating the garden how I want and I am going to enjoy it. The trip was great and I saw a town that I like v much and I only spent 10 on food and gifts! The kids loved it. Now I am going to have a sleep!

Lot's of bulbs and plants have arrived. I mowed the grass today and planted 3 clematis plants. I will decide where to plant all the new plants over the weekend. Work is busy but I made sure that I tidied before my parents come tomorrow. Im looking forward to a good weekend with them. Hurrah.

I have spent plenty of money this week as I ran out of bread so I have been buying lunch at work. What an utter rip off.

I am washing my clothes tonight and hoping to dry them tomorrow just in case it rains over the weekend. I am sure the weathermen have it wrong. It is too nice to rain!

    To do this weekend:
    Ironing
    Plant:
    • 1 clematis
    • 6foxgloves
    • 10 poppies
    • 30lillies
    • 30 petunias
    • 30 anemomies

    Marking two lots

I am also planning to sleep a lot as vvv tired. Mum planted the anemonies and the last of the petunias and tidied up my garden as there were so many leaves left over from all the tulips and muscari's. I rested all day.

I am thinking of having a no spend time. I only want to buy my MAC foundation as I bought it on ebay and remembered how good it was but other than food I really don't need any clothes or shoes. Can one be a minimalist if one can still buy MAC foundation? I am going to give it a go. My house isn't cluttered but I really should start to take this money saving malarkey more seriously and this will help me I think.
