Seems MSE and Private Eye have little in common!

As it is a new thread some articles about Crown that might be of interest:

Hiya just joining in on this as was on old thread,
Personally i didnt see anything wrong about what was posted on the other thread after all all most of it was quotes from other sites or could be found on google ?

2ndly why is TOR threatening people with legal action if there is nohing in it??

the whole thing Crown/Tor/grants of Gold and god knows how many more companies to me personally stinks and again me personally if anybody has shares or is part of any company and has the name and is related to PB then I wouldnt touch it or take the chance,
word of mouth is one of the best advertisments I always got told

The new terms on MSE's email:

"We don't as a general policy investigate the solvency of companies mentioned, how likely they are to go bust, but there is a risk any company can struggle and it's rarely made public until it's too late"

This seems to clear the way for MSE to do what it has done with Crown Currency all over again and avoid the site having to act when doubts emerge about a company it has championed.

There should be a warning included at the top of all guides and comparison tables that it is based on journalism that does not consider solvency.

Also, this is not quite what Martin Lewis said to the the Treasury Select Committee:

"we cannot judge company solvency and we will not look at company solvency. But what we will do is where there is a protection anomaly, we will tell you about it."

Oh how the Rot has set in, what a reversal of fortune!

Colleague of mine had need to book a currency order yesterday and considered 2 companies - suggested he rang to ask who the directors and shareholders were before he decided which one. Suffice to say his decision not to go to Tor was not based on any business model! To give them credit they were actually forthcoming with the answers, but not convinced. BTW, he also lost money with CCE.

Actually ferf1223, you are ignoring '...to a perceived connection to Crown Currency and suggestions ...'
