Yes Car Credit / Direct Auto Finance

The financial ombudsman sent me this about them today, Im claiming back the gap insurance as it was missold and they failed to disclose the commission they were getting from the insurance company who was fully regulated :

"A number of people have contacted us about similar issues and we’re currently considering how to resolve them in a fair and consistent way. This complaint is particularly complex – compared with most other complaints we see. We’ve been looking carefully at the information you and the business have sent us – and we’ll move things forward as soon as we can."

So if you had car finance with them and were fobbed off, raise a new complaint with DAF , subject access them as they still have all your docs going back to the year dot, bank cards, letters, id etc which dpa they shouldn't still have either.
