These are a good size - I'd guess around 2-3cm wide. And they're metal. Some bells I've seen have been plastic so they don't rattle properly.0 -
The weardale railway (& another railway but I can't remember where) has the Polar Express train this year. They also have a Polar Express shop so if you got in touch with them, I'd be amazed if they didn't have a proper PE bell in stock. I'm going in the weardale PE but not until 22nd Dec otherwise I'd have seen if they had one for you. I think it starts this Friday so the shop should be up & running.

Yes there good. I bought mine from prettyjewels.com. I am very pleased with it I must say and very convincing, good weight and lovely box looks just like the real thing with a message from good old father christmas0 -

Thank you. I have finally got one for her and am soo pleased with it. I got it from prettyjewels.com and it is a good heavy weight in a box with a message from FC.

we went on the polar express train in durham and the bells santa gave out only had the ribbon were not in a box and my kids thought they were great as had watched the dvd on route there.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

I made these last year for a craft fair and they sold out. They are really easy to make. The bells i got from eBay, as well as the little 'believe"charms and the organza bags. The tag I got from a google search, I think I still have it on my laptop. I just printed them out of photo paper from Poundland and they were a big hit xxx if anyone wants the tag then just let me know.
