How to package up a Wii Fit - game, board, box?

Trying to get some things sold that i no longer use, Wii Fit being one of them.
I have the game disc, the case, the Wii Fit board that you stand on as well as the carboard box it came in. I've just now weighed it off on the bathroom scales and it says 4.7Kg.
I'm reluctant to go buying any specific packaging for it on the hope that it sells but may not but at the same time i want to know that its true dimensions and weight will be in the event it does sell and i need to send it off.
Based on this would you consider wrapping the box itself in plenty of bubble wrap and then wrapping that in brown packaging paper, both of which i have on a roll? I can't wrap to save my life but my mother is a professional :rotfl:And then plenty of good quality parcel tape?
Just wondering how i should package it up really.

Have you sold it yet? These sell well on local Facebook groups for cash on collection, so no packaging would be needed.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Dont bother its worthless. Check ebay and see how many have sold for 99p or less than £2.
Thats the games complete with boards and all working not broken ones.

I've tried the local facebook sales, that's why i'm now looking in to eBay after 4 weeks of nothing.

Most supermarkets will give you a large cardboard box free of charge if you know the sort of size you need. Package the items in plastic bags to keep them dry (bin liner works fine) then in masses of bubble wrap or poly peanuts, finally taping the box shut with plenty of tape. It is likely to fall into the 5-10kg weight step for a carrier such as Hermes (who will collect from your door on a pre-booked day), so make sure you factor in the relevant amount of postage in your listing when setting the sale price. The Wii Fit boards have dropped massively in value since their release and are generally easy to get a hold of.
CEX sell them for £6. They give £2 cash and £4 store credit for trading in.
Grainger Games give £1 cash and £2 store credit, but will price match and add 10p.
Game only give 50p cash or store credit!
I imagine cash converters or cash generator stores will give similar.
If you have no game shops nearby you may be lucky and be able to get £8-10 on gumtree or Facebook locally as it would cost more to get to the shop. If you do have a shop nearby you may struggle to get more than £5, if that.
Quick glance at listings on ebay, BIN, shows them at around £10 plus postage. Sold listings show sales from £7 plus postage. So you could possibly get £5+ after fees and postage costs, but it's whether it's worth the hassle.
As for packaging, use as much bubble wrap as you can and use that or paper to fill any gaps so it can't move around. Better to have too much bubble wrap than not enough.0 -

Anything is only worth what someone will pay for it. The ones you linked to were worth what they sold for. The one i linked to was worth £23.50 because that's what it sold for.
I also suspect there's a better chance of the £23.50 one being posted out than the £0.99p one. Who knows, maybe it did get posted out, i'm sure you'll have a link for that.
