    I'll be there this Thursday.

Thought I won't get my first payment in until mid May so was surprise to get an appointment to open one on Thursday!

Just hope Ford don't launch a 4% Regular ISA in May like last year.

Indeed, popped in there yesterday to deal with another matured saver and they opened it for me on the spot without any appointment. Very pleased with that!

  • When I booked my appointment was told all the Nottingham building society branches are closed this Saturday (21st) while they update their IT systems. In case anyone is planning a visit.

People in East Anglia might care to note that the Nottingham BS is moving into the area, having bought some of the branch offices of the Norwich and Peterborough BS.
Free the dunston one next time too.

Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place

Well, according to my calcs: £2,791.53 interest on £20,000 over 5 years works out to be the 2.65% AER advertised.
