  • Jid134 yes we seem to have delays although no one is honest enough to tell us why which is so frustrating!’ But we’ve got our site visit next month so going armed with questions! Have you been served notice now? Not long now I bet you can’t wait!

Our valuation was 28th September and offer 8th October
  • Winniedog have you heard anything? Ours was 1 week from valuation to offer I just checked my emails hope that helps

    Been served notice..

31st Jan our solicitors did try the 24th but they dealt with bluestone before and said they dont work fast I've got boxes coming out me ears, would of been perfect for 24th as am off the 28th and 29th and ryanair gave me the 30th and 31st off .
  • Jid134 that’s amazing!! Congratulations!!! Good luck with the move!
Aww that is a pain isn’t it! When did they serve notice? Will you let me know the process for completion when you’re in please? Did you have to extend the offer or was it within time?

We have submitted 3 applications to them in the last month, 2 have been offered, just waiting on the third.

Potentially have another 1-2 going in to them this week.

They are what they are, they will never be the most straight forward of lenders, but at the same time a straight forward applicant is never going to need them. They tend to get over the line for us more often than not.

Exactly ACG, I've been reading your comments about them.. I felt more assured and I had a fantastic broker too.. (I know more about her as she does about me haha)

But the phone call off them today to confirm everything did worry me at first when she said hello Jonjo am Helen calling from bluestone mortgages... I did think ohh !!!! sake!! But was just to say my solicitors asked for the money already... was surprised how quick they done the money as I was told they would take a good while..
  • Jid134 that’s amazing news!! Yay it’s all go now good luck with the move 😊
