Working out new wage for two part time jobs

Hi all, can someone help me work out what my overall wages would be from two potential part time jobs. I've tried to work it out using online calculators, but can't find anything to do the this.

I'm currently working full time at 24k per year, however I'm looking to apply for a job closer to home which is part time - 2 days per week at £12,012. Although the job states 21 hours, so I'm waiting for clarification on this.

At my current job, I would then either move to an hourly wage (the same as if I was 24k), which I think is like £11.50 per hour or just a reduced salary bringing home £1150 - £1200 per month if I can negotiate something.

Does anyone know how much I would then take home from the new part time job at £12,012 per year, taking consideration tax, NI, etc.

Thanks all

You need to look at both jobs separately as far as NI is concerned. You will be subject to that each time you are paid by either organisation as long as you are above the threshold in the particular job.

Regarding tax, if all your annual tax-free allowance would be taken up in your current job, your new job would be deducting 20% tax off your entire earnings.

This means that you pay the same amount of income tax as if all your earnings were in one but you may pay slightly less NI.
