Katey, no, don't really have any idea. I had some tests/scans done for possible PCOS but they all came back clear so don't know what caused it.
OK, TMI warning, sorry ladies! But really feel I need to share in case anyone has had similar. According to Ovia I'm in my fertile week so last night we were BD'ing and I had a LOT of pain inside on the RHS. Afterwards I had a little feel and found a lump, had DH look at it and he said there's definitely a lump there, it hurts when it's pushed but not the rest of the time and it's slightly red compared to the surrounding area. DH did some googling and found some info on a Bartholin's cyst? Just wondered if anyone else had ever had anything like this? I'm pretty worried and guess I need to see my GP0 -

MrsNubs please do get that checked out ASAP. I've just googled Bartholin's cyst as I have never heard of it before and it does sound likely given your description but best to get checked out anyway to be on the safe side. Do keep us posted.0

I haven't had a Bartholins cyst but my best friend has and it caused a lot of panic before she found out what it was. Hopefully they can get it sorted ASAP but definitely get to the Doctor

Well, I'm officially 10-11 days later than I've usually been. Still no AF, still getting BFNs. I rang my GP today and had a consultation over the phone with her about it - while she agreed it was very odd this had happened now of all times when I'd otherwise seemed ("seemed" being the operative word) relatively regular, she said if a pregnancy wouldn't be a bad thing for me, she wouldn't refer me for blood tests until at least another couple of weeks :wall:
Sounds so melodramatic but I full-on started ugly crying when she told me that! My partner was so shocked (and probably very embarrassed) by it lol... Just absolutely hate being in this limbo I'm not the most patient person as a rule so this is driving me nuts. I just want to know one way or another.

Thanks for your support ladies. I will definitely be going to the Dr, however our docs are really hard to get appointments for. You have to basically call on the dot of 8 or they all go, and I'm driving to work from 7:45-8:30. Tried today as soon as I got to work but they'd all gone. I guess I need to find somewhere to pull over on my way to work to make the call, so frustrating! I'll keep you all posted on what happens. My biggest worry is this is my fertile week, so we may miss out this month. Having missed last time due to my UTI I'm getting really fed up of the terrible timing!
Katey you have all my sympathy. Having been there myself I know how unbelievably frustrating it is! I feel like our bodies play tricks on us when they know how badly we want something! Just remember we're all here for you any time you need to rant about it and we all have our fingers crossed for you. I hope you get an answer soon0 -

Katey that's really rubbish I'm surprised that the Doctor wants to wait so long. Could you see a different Doctor at the surgery and ask if you could just have the bloods done anyway? I know some GPs can be quite dismissive of what they see to be small problems but if it is causing you this much stress and anxiety then that's not good for you.
MrsNubs getting an appointment is so frustrating. Mine is the same, and to pre-book an appointment there is a three week waiting list! Do you have a minor injuries unit close to you? If you ring 111 they can advise the closest place you could go, and possibly out of hours too if you need to organise it around work.
