What a beautiful baby Topgirl.
I had dinner with an old friend last night. He's been doing a meal replacement diet and has lost 2.5 stone in 12 weeks by having 3 shakes and a cup of Brussels sprouts every day  He did look dramatically different and he was doing it for medical reasons (type 2 diabetes) but I couldn't have done that. This is the first week he's been allowed real food - one meal a day and 2 shakes.
Today I had:
Brunch: avocado, poached egg, wholemeal toast (HEB, 7 syns)
Dinner: pork meatballs, parsnip mash, broccoli (3)
Snack: Nakd bar (7 apparently !!! Who knew they were so high)
HEA: milk in tea and coffee0 -

Evening People,
Hope you are all fine and dandy.
Well the op is all done and I am home, but it wasn't quite as straight forward as I had hoped.
Basically the lumpy bump was too big to get out of the small hole, so they had to cut a slot in my tummy. It meant a longer time asleep (4 hours) and my tummy is the colour of the Purple one in the Quality Street tin.
The surgeon was LOVELY, but she was very straight with me when she said that my chubbiness on my tummy made it a much more difficult operation. She recommended a way to lose weight, that the NHS recommend, it's an easy healthy way to eat, no deprivation, lots of F&V, some treats, some of you may have heard of it, it's called Slimming World
SO that was absolutely the kick that was needed. What a fool I am. I've lost weight SO many times with SW, it's easy, and I know it works, so why keep slipping back into binge starve mode? Idiotic Frog
Anyway, I'm feeling much more positive about the future. NO MORE crash dieting, sensible healthy eating is the key. It's only taken me 45 years to work it out which is actually quite quick for a Frog
I shall hop on from time to time to be inspired by all you humans :A
