  • Good luck for your interview tomorrow TheWaltons.

They just ask you a couple of things, tell you a bit about it and ask what shift you want to work.

They said to me the shift was 12pm-4pm, but I think this is american time as when I received a confirmation email it had 6pm-10pm.

Can't wait to get started now!!

I've applied for this too and got an email through to do the PC test. Just wondering - do they have more than 20 hours per week available? I'm currently working in a call centre and would have to leave that job due to regular late and weekend shifts, in order to work from home and could really do with 30+ hours.

Sorry to be dim, but if this company is in the states, there's no problem with wages, is there? and how many hours can you do,part - time? And what abt school hols, with kids at home?

Teletech have three uk call centers and a uk office,
I think it's just because the @home thing is new their
using the HR staff who have been running the US @home

Well the kids thing has to be a factor if you want to go for the
job, they make it very clear you must have a noise free workplace
    which you can understand really,

Overtime may be a option occasionally but not guaranteed

So we are handling American customers?

Are they going to make jokes about us, the way we do about Indian call centres? :D

I can do 7-11 shifts no problem, if they want a noise free background!

    What were the other options?

Now I presume this is on PAYE?
  • Im not sure what customers we will deal with. I wondered this but forgot to ask.

The only option I was given was 6-10 SMTWT or 6-10 TFSSM.

It is on PAYE, paid every fortnight.

Oh no.. I would need to move my PC and get my kids into bed at 5:30am to do that shift!!!

It must be US callers... I don't know of many call centres in this uk open 24/7... could be wrong.

Is this like some call centre jobs, where you get switched around Projects.. for example.. I used to work SonyEricsson but could be passed over to Vodafone etc ?
