That's true here too. I definitely drink less than I did pre SW. I cut down on my drinking before starting SW and now I have several alcohol free days a week. All was fine when I was getting to target but SW have upped the syns in wine over the years. I can't believe the wineries have changed the recipe.

I put 10 portions of savoury mince in the freezer this morning. I generally weigh them to make sure they're fairly equal in size and was delighted to see that I'd more than doubled the weight from 500g of mince by adding in Speed. That's onions, leeks, carrots, courgettes and mushrooms. The original recipe has some diced potato but I leave that out as I like it to be suitable for SP meals, particularly cottage pie with swede and carrot mash or stuffed marrow.

tete, this is the potato salad recipe I was talking about:

    https://www.lovepotatoes.co.uk/recipes/creamy-new-potato-salad/

I've doubled up the recipe to take as my contribution to buffets and barbecues.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix with HEA milk, half banana
    L: bacon, egg and Speed
D: roast beef, SW roasties and loads of Speed veg (red cabbage, cauli, broccoli, carrots)
Syns: HM gravy 4? weekend wine:D.

I have no plans to do it.... but I have been with OH for 31+ years!

I've been with OH for about 30 years - we finally snuck off to a register office last year to do the dirty deed (we only told two people who acted as witmesses) because we realised that we wouldn't inherit each other's pensions unless we were married and it would leave my OH in particular financially far worse off in old age if I died first.

Easier next week as OH is on earlies so evening meal is at normal time.

    We're all different.

DH and I always eat about 7.30 in the evening. That means I don't need evening snacks.

I'm rarely hungry any earlier but if I feel peckish I'll have a piece of ham or beetroot or cornichons straight from the jar. :)

We do the same most days, sometimes later if I haven't made a slow-cooker meal.

We're up at 6 but not back from work until around 6pm, then we like to go for a longish walk together, so cooking gets pushed back a bit. It works for us and the walks are our favourite part of the day, so food/cooking has to fit around them.
