BT price increases September 2018

I had my email this lunchtime, notifying me that although my fibre broadband deal price won't alter until next May, my BT Sport Lite is going up from £3.50 to £6.00.
I spent half an hour on the phone to a lady in Newcastle this afternoon, and the upshot is I've cancelled the BT Sport altogether.
So BT's greed has not only resulted in me never using their landline phone to make a single paid call for the last two years, but they've now lost me as a BT Sport customer as well.
So well done, BT! Your price increase has saved me £3.50 a month!"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
I got my email today. Broadband is going up by £0.00. Call charges are increasing but almost no calls made from my landline so not concerned.
I have had the same email, no increase for broadband just increase in calls outside the call package, and free caller ID, I have no sports or tv package with them so no increase for me
I can leave if I want to, I have to contact them within 30 days of email or 14 days if I want to switch to a new providerThanks to all who post compsITV winners membersclub#20 -

I have three different BT line/fibre accounts at three addresses. As of yet no email about price increases on any of them, back in November ,I clicked on their email link to sign up for a new 18 month contract at the same price of £25.99. I did this for each account.
Anyone else not had an email?0 -

From the MSE article...BT has told us it's writing to all customers who'll be affected by the price rises and will contact them all by August at the latest
So still time for them to contact everyone.
