What small DFW things will you do this week - w/c 9th April?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :money:

Morning guys .. it seems like you've all been busy this rather chilly Monday morning
i started this morning by cashing out my ebay sales from the weekend and that along with the £5 scratch card i found in an old bag has taken my bedt busting of cc into the 5000s .. yay !!
I am sooo chuffed i have managed to pay off £905.53 from my LBM easter weekend
so back onto todays plans
* Only at job#1 today but out all day so i have warned the boys in advance not to eat all the food in the fridge and grab a sarnie and yogurt for lunch .. not expecting them up early enough for brekkie lol
* I plan to cash my scratch card in on the way home from work
* Meals all planned for the week and dinner taken from the freezer for tonight
* I need to update savings / banking diaries
* I have a docs apt after work but going to get off the train the stop earlier (where docs is) the walk home .. good for saving my £s and losing some lbs
* I may list a few more ebay bits if i get time .. big if as i have a few chores to do tonight but fingers crossed.
So i hope everyone has a marvellous Monday and a very prosperous week ahead

Morning folks!
Thanks to DNMS for starting us off
Excellent debt busting there mumofthetwins!
The freelancer is gone, the sun is shining through the mist, and I kept off the sugar all day!
Finances looking very ropey - grocery budget does not look good considering we are only 1 week in and I've spent almost all of it! We seemed to run out of loads of things at once and I had to get all the cake ingredients and a Bulk Powders order. I really need to try and stretch what we have left. There's lots of veg and carbs, just need meat probably.
Today's mission:- B/L/D from stores
- Snacks as planned
- No sugar
- No booze
- Remind OH to send invoices
- Charge phone in work
- Gym at lunch time - have been feeling weird about the gym recently and I think I've been putting too much pressure on myself to "perform". sometimes the win is just getting moving, and I need to relax and try and enjoy it. - done. Not a bad session.
- Nip into the garden later and check things. I actually ate my tea out there yesterday evening!
- Sew in crochet ends - I didn't do this yesterday
- Free stretching video
- Email organisers about a car boot sale spot on Sat - done. awaiting a reply....
- Relax and be fabulous

Hello Monday Moneypennies,
Useful day so far:
*Paid another 50p into my sealed pot.
*My Yougov payment of £50 arrived so have paid it to our LPDF.
*Did a very few surveys.....DNMS I agree that Onepoll is really slow atm.
*Did laundry overnight on cheap tariff. All pegged outside. Washer reloaded for same again tonight.
*W/meal loaf made....on its 2nd proving.
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Updated budgets & moved some funds around.
*Wrapped a small ebay sale & re-listed a few items.
*Pulled forced spring rhubarb. Stewed it & will divvy up into snack pots for the freezer.
*Write letter - gifted note card & a bit of free exercise walking to the postbox.
*Changed bed linen - that too will wait for a half price overnight wash.
*Check on greenhouse seedlings.
*Think about some different calorie-controlled lunch options which are also budget-friendly.
*Nobble mr f about possible dates for legal appointment. Although I have procured all the necessary docs (for a lot lower outlay than anticipated), we still haven't made a solicitor's appt & sorted out what needs doing. It has become the 'frog' on my job list because I know it will be expensive. Tomorrow, I promise to 'eat the frog'.
Ok, must crack on.

*Tired of eating the same stuff week-in-week-out.
A couple of things you could do to try and spice up your food life that I've either tried or seen.
*Go through all your cook books and pick 7 new recipes for the next week
*Go onto the supercook website, put in the ingredients you have at home and it will suggest recipes for you
*Pick a cook book and cook your way through every recipe in the book
*Use a website like EatingWell and download one of their 7 day meal plans and follow it
*Write a list of everything you can cook and like and rediscover old favourites
*Have a "pot luck" yellow sticker day - you have to cook what you buy
