:jYeah, thought I would have a look at my mortgage figures, again :o - always looking at them, hoping one day I'll see the figure that will make my last payment. :rotfl:

And my July mortgage payment had been deducted :j and I overcalculated the interest added, so I am now the huge sum of £1.96 under the 27's, making me now officially in my 26's :j

We now have our estimate :j
But ..... I do worry too much :(. They have the go ahead if under £200.00 without our consent. Trouble is, it is under £200 and they WANT our consent   Should I be worried ?
Especially as 1 builder's quote was double that and add on a 0

    Estimate received 14/6/16 - Consent given by e-mail 20/6/16

    then Nothing . . . . . . until today

New letter received today, new job number dated 30.6.16 informing me/us a resident has reported a repair required, and the maintenance team will visit the property on 1.7.16 between 8.00am and 12.00. Letter arrived today 4.7.16.

We will send an itemised repair bill detailing the full breakdown of works, on completion of the repair

Would that happen to be the one already received on the 14.6.16

My other neighbours are all away on holiday, so have to deal with this one myself  .:D

Been on the phone, asked what the **** is going on, reminding them that we are paying for a service, they are not providing. Of course, they can't tell me, I need to phone in the morning. Asked for their complaints procedure :D and where I would find it - was given an address and e-mail address.

Sorry about their lack of communication regarding your building work. That's rubbish! I hope you soon get it sorted out. :)

OK, so i've calmed down a bit.

Sitting here, thinking, I could with some days off :o but again, same old story - short staffed :( so I'll be there as usual. Work has a very short secondment coming up, which I would like to do, its my kind of "thing" so will apply for that in the next few days and see what happens, closing date is a week from now.

Still mulling over my next o/p, had decided to go for it at the weekend, now I've got slightly cold feet, not like me:o

Was listing like mad over the weekend as got offer with 75% off fees :j and within minutes had sold an item, which encouraged me, then nothing, till this morning :) that's 2 more items - out the house :j so just over £15 into the o/p pot :)
